Nanoscience Foundries and Fine Analysis (NFFA)

The University of Barcelona through the CCiTUB is part of the plataforma NFFA (Nanoscience Foundries and Fine Analysis), a set of European infrastructures in the field of nanotechnologies, funded by the H2020 program of the European Union.

NFFA is an open access platform that aims to give researchers the ability to address complex challenges in nanoscience, which cannot be solved by a single research infrastructure, offering combined access to resources from internationally competitive research and support centers

The CCiTUB integrates the platform with XPS, Electronic Microprobe, STEM, CLEM (MOA, TEM, Crio-TEM) i EPR-ENDOR resources.

How to access

NFFA-Europe offers scientists from Europe and other countries (check criteria here), from both academia and industry the possibility to carry out comprehensive projects for multidisciplinary research at the nanoscale.

Project proposals can be submitted at any time, but will be collected periodically for scientific evaluation. These periodic collections will take place on 1 March, 1 June, 1 September and 1 December (extended to the next working day should the official deadline fall on a non-working day) each year.

All information can be found in the NFFA User Guidelines.
