The Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) with the Scientific and technological Centers of the University of Barcelona (CCiTUB) and the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) have launched the NanoDivulga project. Nanotechnology is the result of an innovation process that allows the study of matter at tiny scales with the joint efforts of chemists, physicists, engineers, doctors and biologists. The objective of the new project is to bring the world of nanotechnology and nanoscience to citizens. Dr. Jordi Díaz, Nanometrics Technology [+][+] of CCiTUB has been the CCiTUB leader of NanoDivulga project and participated in the two first activities. These two projects have had a high number of attendees and have generated great interest around nanotechnologies. It has also begun to raise the future creation of the “Plataforma nacional de nanodivulgacion y nanodiologo”.
