Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry Award.

PhD. Olga Jauregui, from the Separation Techniques Unit, is the co-author of the paper “Quantitative Dietary Fingerprinting (QDF)—A Novel Tool for Comprehensive Dietary Assessment Based on Urinary Nutrimetabolomics” which has been awarded by the "Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry" for the best scientific article of the year 2020.

This award is an international recognition that distinguishes outstanding research in the areas of agrochemistry and food chemistry, and has the support of the agrochemicals and agricultural and food chemistry divisions of the American Chemical Society (ACS).

The paper, directed by PhD. Andres Lacueva (biomarkers and nutromics nutritional and food research group) of the Nutrition, Food Sciences and Gastronomy Department oh the University of Barcelona presents a new analytical tool to identify the quantitative dietary footprint by analyzing urinary metabolomics.
