"Upgrade in the biomedical field for job training's professorate".

Next Thursday, 7th March, at 9 a.m. at "Sala de Actos del Palau de les Heures" the inauguration of the "II Jornadas de Formación del Profesorado" inside the cycle of update in the biomedical field for professorship of "formació profesional" will take place .

The Welcome will be presided by Vicerector of Students and Linguistic Politics of the UB, Dr. Gemma Fonrodona, and they will form a part of the table, Mr Joan Hidalgo, coordinator of the Consortium of Education of Barcelona, Dr. Manel Barranco, delegated of the Rector of the UB for the Barcelona Knowledge Campus (BKC), Dr. Jose Ramon Seoane, Director of the CCiTUB, and Dr. Antoni Sans, Director of the Institute of Sciences of the Education (ICE-UB).

Four of the five conferences will be given by technical staff of the CCiTUB who have been invited ICE.

March 7th

9.30h: "Scanning electron microscopy", given by Dr. Xavier Garcia Veigas from the Scanning electron microscopy technology.
11.30h: "X-ray diffraction. Possibilities and applications", given by Dr. Xavier Alcobé from the X-ray diffraction technology.

March 12th

11.30h: "The research with laboratory animals", given by Dra. Teresa Rodrigo from the Animal facilities technology.

March 19th

9.30h: "HPLC. Biological and chemical applications", given by Dr. Isidre Casals from the Separation techniques technology.

Conferences on March 7th and 12th will be held on "Sala de actos del Palau de les Heures", at Campus Mundet, and conference on March 19th at "Sala Fèlix Serratosa del Parc Científic de Barcelona" (Edifici Clúster, Baldiri Reixac 4-6 Campus Diagonal).
