"CCiTUB have participated in the MICROVIDA exhibition organized by Cosmocaixa Madrid "
The Scientific and Technological Centers of the Universitat de Barcelona(CCiTUB) have participated in the "MICROVIDA" exhibition organized by Cosmocaixa Madrid. This exhibition will soon be hosted in Barcelona too.

The Electronic Microscopy (TEM/SEM) Technology located in the faculty of medicine (Casanova Campus) provided scientific and technological support for the preparation of samples and image acquisition by scanning electron microscopy. They also helped to prepare a video which explains the basics of this microscopy.

Images have been obtained using Zeiss DSM 940A (Electron Microscopy TEM/SEM Technology) and Quanta 200 from FEI (Scanning electron microscopy Technology) microscopes.
