Technicians of the CCiTUB participated yesterday in two divulgation days in Barcelona. PhD. Jordi Díaz, responsible of the Nanometric Techniques Unit of the CCiTUB, participated in the 'Jornada de Nanotecnologia i Construcció: fabricant des del món atòmic' [+] that took place at the Escola Politècnica Superior d'Edificació (EPSEB). In this conference, Dr. Jordi Díaz explained some applications of nanotechnology in construction and some security aspects related to the manipulation of nanoparticles. On the other hand, PhD. Joan Mendoza, technician of the TEM applied to materials technology of the CCiTUB, made the talk 'Nanotecnología: ¿Qué es? ¿En qué se usa?'in the day 'Nanotecnología y PRL: los delegados y delegadas de prevención ante los retos tecnológicos' [+] that took place in the Sala Brigadas Internacionales of the Rambla Santa Mónica. This activity is included within the framework of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work that is commemorated on April 28. |
