From April 24 to June 26, “Biblioteques de Barcelona” hosts the conference series "Visions de la Ciència: El nanomón, realitat o ficció". This series of eight conferences will be held by different experts in nanotechnology, and will take place in four public libraries in Barcelona: Les Corts, Camp de l'Arpa, Sagrada Família and Vila de Gràcia. The topics discussed will tackle the future applications of nanotechnology: nanorobots used in medicine, nanomagnets that watch volcanoes, etc. Other conferences will relate nanotechnology to other areas of human knowledge, with philosophy in the analysis of nanotechnological progress or as the art in the realization of fresco painting using nanomaterials. This series of conferences was organized by CCiTUB by the responsible of Nanometric Techniques technology, Dr. Jordi Díaz, who also held the inaugural lecture entitled "Les Nanotecnologies: la nova revolució industrial", which took place On April 24 at “Les Corts - Miquel Llongueras” Library in Barcelona. The sixth of these lectures, will be held at the Camp de l'Arpa-Caterina Albert Library, will be made by Mr. Joan Mendoza, of TEM technology applied to materials of CCiTUB, on Monday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. Will be entitled "Progrès humà i progrès nanotecnològic".
