The FEI Tecnai G2 Spirit TWIN 120 kV microscope offers an excellent balance between resolution power and image contrast. It can be used to work with biological and polymeric samples both at room temperature and under cryogenic conditions.

Technology Applications

• Imaging of samples at room temperature
• Imaging of beam‑sensitive samples and samples under cryogenic conditions using low‑dose mode
• Automated acquisition of image series for tomography

Location

The FEI Tecnai G2 Spirit TWIN microscope is managed by the Electron Microscopy and Related Techniques Unit and is located on the Diagonal Campus, in the facilities occupied by the CCiTUB within the Science Park of the University of Barcelona.
