Over the past two decades, major advances in Raman instrumentation have revolutionized Raman microscopy, and especially "Raman Imaging". This seminar will present the evolution of the Raman imaging techniques and will show the enormous potential that offers the "Confocal Raman Imaging" as a technique for characterizing materials in various fields of research such as nanomaterials, biomedical, pharmaceutical, food, etc...
