Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Technology on the "Mapa de Infraestructuras Científicas y Técnicas Singulares (ICTS)"

On past October 2014, the “Consejo de Política Científica, Tecnológica y de Innovación” approved the “Mapa de Infraestructuras científicas y Técnicas Singulares (ICTS)”. Now, changes have been published and 29 ICTS with 59 infrastructures are included. In order to elaborate the map, the selected infrastructures have been subjected to a rigorous process of independent evaluation which has rated their scientific, technological and innovation quality. Also, these facilities must guarantee their economic sustainability.

The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology of the CCiTUB, located in the Parc Científic de Barcelona, appears in the map since year 2000 and performs, among others, studies in areas such as structure and dynamics of biomolecules, functional biology, and identification and optimization of drugs in development.

The laboratory is available for researchers who need to make use of the facilities or advice.
