From June 30th to July 2nd 2015 will be held, in the science and technology park of the University of Girona, the Theoprax 2015 “Theoretical and Practical X-ray fluorescence spectrometry workshop: Instrumentation and Applications”. Dr. Xavier Llovet, responsible of the Electron Microprobe Technology of the CCiTUB, will present a lecture entitled “Electron probe X-ray microanalysis: principles and applications". This talk will summarize the basic principles of electron probe X-ray microanalysis, with examples of applications in materials science and geology that illustrate the capabilities of the technique. |
