Next November 27th the 24th Diada de la Societat Catalana de Salut Laboral (SCSL) will take place in Barcelona, it will be hold in the auditorium of the Academia de Ciències Mèdiques i de la Salud de Catalunya i Balears. The purpose of this congress is to gather professionals in occupational health to promote the exchange of practical experiences, research results and opinions about several matters of interest in this field. In order to do that, a round table has been organized and a part of the congress has been dedicated to the presentation of free communications and posters by the attendees. The main theme of this year's edition is the prevention of occupational risks in the field of nanotechnologies. Dr. Jordi Díaz, responsible of the Nanometric Techniques Technology of the CCiTUB, will give an introductory speech about nanotechnology and will participate in the first part of the round table, titled "Prevenció de riscos en el camp de la nanotecnologia: què són, perquè serveixen, abast, avaluació de risc, mesures preventives". | |
