The qualification of Singular Scientific and Technological Facilities (ICTS, Infraestructuras Científicas y Tecnológicas Singulares) of the facilities of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Technology of the CCiTUB has been renewed recently. These facilities are working as ICTS since year 2000 and play an important role in the development of the NMR at international level. The laboratory of the Technology of NMR of the CCiTUB, has as main objective to carry out very high field NMR experiments to study the structure and dynamics of complex molecules of biological interest and advising pharmaceutical companies about NMR applications in their field. Its instruments contribute to research in various areas, such as chemistry, molecular, cellular and genetic biology, food science and technology, pharmacy, biotechnology and others. The facilities are open to those researchers who may require them, and also offer advice in their research. | |
