"Arrival at the CCiTUB of the new Ultrafast Confocal Raman imaging instrument: WITec Alpha 300RA+"
The Centres Científics i Tecnològics UB (CCiTUB) have come to an agreement with WITec focus innovations GmbH to use for at least 3 months the “Alpha 300RA+” instrument. It will be installed in the CCiTUB building located at Lluís Solé i Sabarís street. Such a system combines a Confocal Raman microscope and an AFM and allows:

- Ultrafast 3D Confocal Raman imaging
- Confocal fluorescence imaging
- Raman imaging in NIR and Visible
- AFM modes: contact mode, lateral force modes (LFM), AC Modes, resonant intermittent contact mode with amplitude and phase imaging

In order to use it you should contact with the staff of Raman Spectroscopy Technology from next week.
