10.05.2023The Scientific and Technological Centers (CCiTUB) and the Technical Unit for Radiation Protection (UTPR) of the UB renew their quality certifications
The CCiTUB and the UTPR have renewed the certification of their quality management system according to the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. The renewal audits took place last February and, following the responses to the audit report, the certifying organization (SGS) communicated the decision to renew the certifications for another 3 years. The whole process was supported by the staff of the Research Quality Unit of the Policy and Quality Agency of the UB.
The CCiTUB have been ISO 9001 certified since 2005 and the UTPR since 2014. The quality management system of the CCiTUB is primarily focused on ensuring the reliability, integrity and credibility of the results produced for their institutions. In the case of the UTPR, the quality management system aims to ensure the protection of researchers working with radioactive isotopes.
These quality certifications enable the CCiTUB and the UTPR to meet the most demanding requirements of their users and provide added value to the services they offer.
