10.04.2023The CCiTUB quality management system presents at the 7th Global QA Conference & 39th SQA Annual Meeting
The 7th Global Quality Assurance Conference & 39th SQA Annual Meeting, organized by the Society of Quality Assurance of the USA, took place from 12 to 17 March 2023.
Dr. Carme Navarro and Dr. Rosa Mª Vilanova, from the Research Quality Unit participated in this conference, where they presented 2 posters on some of the relevant aspects of the CCiTUB’s Quality Management System:
The poster entitled “Quality Control Analysis in Research Laboratories: Strategies to Fulfil GMP Requirements in a University Setting” describes the strategies and tools implemented to ensure compliance with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements demanded by companies in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector for quality control testing. The poster entitled “Process Control in a University Core Facility: Quality Metrics” presents the indicators of the quality management process and the analysis of the nonconformities detected during audits, as well as the training actions proposed as a result of this analysis. [+]
Participation in this conference has made it possible to highlight one of the main added values of the CCiTUB, its quality management system, as well as the importance of collaboration between the quality units and the research support centres to ensure the quality, reliability, integrity and traceability of the results delivered to researchers.
