Nanoinventum starts a new stage in Zaragoza

The Nanoinventum Project, organized by the Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona and funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), will start a new stage that will take place in Zaragoza. In collaboration with the Laboratory of Advanced Microscopies (LMA) linked to the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon (INMA), CSIC-University of Zaragoza, the project will be presented to primary school teachers on September 27 at the Campus Rio Ebro.

This presentation of the project in Zaragoza added to the incorporation to the STEAMcat program, consolidates Nanoinventum as one of the projects for students and primary school teachers of more entity of the University of Barcelona

Nanoinventum

Nanoinventum is a pedagogical proposal that was born with the desire to bring the world of science and nanotechnology closer to primary school students. Again a project started at CCiTUB that is transformed into a collaborative one, with the help of other institutions, in order to do a more complete job and reach a larger number of students. School teachers are initially trained in nanotechnology by specialists accompanied by the necessary material so that children can learn the basics of nanotechnology. Once children have received this training, they should try to solve a scientific challenge. In order to do so, they must design and build a nanorobot documenting their project.
