The Scientific and Technological Centers of the Universitat de Barcelona have created an APP for the divulgation of nanotechnology, with the support of the “Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnologia del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad” (FECYT). The application, which is called "Nanoroom", has 5 different augmented reality experiences that show real or future applications of the nanotechnologies for various fields of science like, for example, nanomedicine or the nanomaterials. The promoter of this initiative is Dr. Jordi Díaz, Technician of the Nano-Techniques Technology, and the APP has been developed by "Fundación Obicex”. The initiative is included in the divulgation projects carried out by the CCiTUB, specifically in the framework of the project 10alamenos9 in which more than a dozen technicians from different units participate and this year will celebrate its third edition [+] . This year, as a novelty, there is a workshop called "Encounter of art, science and nanotechnology", which aims to be a meeting point between artists and scientists, between art, science and (nano) technology.
