The CCiTUB through the responsible of Nanometrics Unit, PhD. Jordi Díaz, together with the school of painting "Belles Arts Fco. Valderrama" and the Museum of Gavà, organize the exhibition titled "Nanoart", which can be visited at the Museum Of Gavà throughout the month of April. The exhibition shows a selection of scientific photographs, finalists of the international competition SPMAGE, organized by researchers from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM) and have been given up to the Festival Nacional de Nanociencia y Nanotecnología 10alamenos9. Complementing the scientific images, we can contemplate a set of paintings made by different artists coming from the school of painting "BellesArtsFco. Valderrama", which try to represent the nano world from the artistic side. Finally, within the framework of this exhibition, Dr. Jordi Díaz will hold an explanatory conference, also entitled "Nanoart", today, on April 6 at 7:30 p.m. A part of this exhibition can also be seen at the second Festival 10alamenos9, which will take place on 25 and 26 April at COSMOCAIXA in Barcelona. | |
