We cordially invite you to the High Content Screening (HCS) Workshop organized by CCiTUB- Centres Científics i Tecnològics de la Universitat de Barcelona and ThermoFisher.
In this workshop, we will be able to discover applications of this technology through the automated imaging and analysis platform, CellInsight CX7 HCS from ThermoFisher.
The workshop will be organized in a Lecture and Practical demonstrations of the CellInsight CX7 HCS from ThermoFisher.
Number of participants to the lecture is limited to 30 people due to space limitations.
Practical demonstrations will be organized in groups of 5 participants. Participants are encouraged to bring their own samples.
About this Technology: High Content Screening is a powerful technology that combines automated microscopy (typically fluorescence), massive image analysis and data visualization tools. This technology is key for drug testing or cell therapy as it allows simultaneous observation, description and classification of multiple cell phenotypes under numerous experimental conditions.
Its main applications are in the fields of: Angiogenesis, Synaptogenesis, Cell cycle and mitotic index, Apoptosis—TUNEL, Cell viability, Stem cell
differentiation, Autophagy, Cell proliferation, Mitochondrial health, Neurite outgrowth, Cytoskeletal rearrangement, Transcription factor activation.
