In the post-genomics, proteomics is a discipline that is emerging dramatically mainly due to the sequencing of genomes, bioinformatics and particularly, due to sequencing techniques through mass spectrometry. This seminar will show how these techniques have opened new fronts of analysis in fields such as biomedicine, biotechnology, food, pharmaceutical and other industries where protein identification is of great interest.
