New location for chromatography equipment

On April 13th the equipment of the Mass Spectrometry Service of the Faculty of Pharmacy was moved to the Gas Chromatography – Applied Mass Spectrometry Technology Technology at the CCiTUB building on Solé i Sabarís street. This transfer is an improvement in location that optimizes resources in order to provide better service to the user.
The transferred equipment is:
- Gas chromatograph GC6890N with 7683B series autosampler, coupled with an Agilent Technologies mass detector 5975 InertXL, which can operate in electronic impact mode or chemical ionization mode.
- SIS direct introduction probe coupled with an Agilent Technologies 5973 Network mass detector which operates in electronic impact mode.
Interested users can access these devices and get more information by contacting Asunción Marín PhD (Facultative Upper Technician) or Pilar Teixidor PhD (responsible of Gas chromatography – Applied mass spectrometry Technology).
