Today, January 13th, the presentation of the book “Introducción a las técnicas instrumentales de caracterización y análisis I” has been held at the Physics Faculty of the UB. The book has been recently edited by the Scientific and Technological Centers of the Universitat de Barcelona (CCiTUB) and is available for sale at Publicacions UB. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Transfer of the UB, Mr. Jordi Alberch; the Director of the Barcelona Knowledge Campus, Mr. Joan Roca; the Director of the Institute of Education Sciences, Mr. Antoni Sans and the Director of the CCiTUB, Mr. José Ramón Seoane. During the event, Mr. Joan Roca spoke about the future of the BKC, and cited current and future collaborations between BKC and CCiTUB. Mr. Antoni Sans, has highlighted tasks carried out by ICE in the education environment and has talked about the interest in continue using the knowledge of the CCiTUB technicians in future collaborations with ICE (trainings, courses, ...). Director of the CCiTUB, Mr. José Ramón Seoane, explained the divulgation activities and courses/seminars that CCiTUB carries out, for which this book is a good example. He also thanked the dedication and professionalism of the CCiTUB technicians who have made possible the publication of this book. Finally, Mr. Alberch thanked all entities of the UB who collaborated on the book and remarked that this is a example of the coordination and good work that can be carried out when different entities of the UB participate together. He also highlighted the high qualification of the CCiTUB staff as well as the investment in CCiTUB equipment of this last years, and has proposed as a future challenge the international projection of the CCiTUB. | |
