The CCiTUB publish the sixth issue of the newsletter on nanotechnology BCNanoscopies Newsletter, a quarterly delivery of the latest news in the field of nanotechnology. It is important to highlight in this issue the interview to Dr. Manuel Barranco, who holds a degree and a PhD in Physics from the Universitat de Barcelona and is professor of Atomic, Molecular and Nuclear Physics in the same university. In the interview, Dr. Barranco, who has been President delegate of the BKC until last February, talks about the Campus of International Excellence BKC (Barcelona Knowledge Campus), about its performance, about the impact it has locally and internationally as well as the importance of the collaboration between the CCiTUB and the BKC. It must also be emphasized the article from the Spanish company Iridia, where it’s introduced the HybriDTM mode,a new kind of working mode which enriches mesurements done by a wide range of atomic force microscopy techniques. | |
