The Networking & Innovation Day (NID) will be a meeting point for members of the UB Group research and innovation system, companies based at the Parc Científic de Barcelona (PCB) and the corporate world.
It is an event to introduce and promote the transfer of technology from the UB Group and match it with current market needs. It is a place where companies and researchers will share knowledge in order to develop innovative projects together: an open innovation model of innovation management. NID aims to be an instrument to facilitate the connection between the corporate world and the knowledge generated inside the University of Barcelona, with the participation of: • The Fundació Bosch i Gimpera (FBG), the center of the UB for knowledge and technology transfer and for the promotion of innovation. It is in charge of promoting the research done at the UB and making sure that the results of the research reach society • The Scientific and Technological Centers of the UB (CCiTUB) have top-notch scientific equipment, in many cases unique • The Parc Científic de Barcelona (PCB), which hosts 3 research institutes, over 70 entities including 60 companies and a large technology offer to support research Knowledge areas included are: Health and Biotechnology, Agro-food, Chemistry and Cosmetics, Materials and nanotechnology, Electronics, Optics, ICT, Energy and Environment.
