On Friday 14th ended the BCNano’13 workshop on advanced AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy) modes organized from the CCiTUB in collaboration with Asylum Research. The workshop started on Wednesday 12th and was structured in three self-consistent sessions (1 day-each): 1) PiezoResponse AFM, 2) Multifrequency AFM, 3) Lift Modes AFM. Attendees participated in plenary lectures, practical sessions and different round table to discuss specific details concerning the experimental technique, microscope configurations and problems about samples. Moreover, 3 AFM systems were available for the demos each of them showing the technique-of-the-day from a specific point of view. |
