The CCiTUB in the BKC as an example of excellence in research
On Thursday May 23 the Barcelona Knowledge Campus organizes
the "Jornada sobre la calidad en la investigación" with the participation of researchers and responsibles of quality units from the UB, the UPC and the CSIC (institutions aggregated to the campus BKC), as well as other universities like the URV of Tarragona and the University of Minnesota.
The CCiTUB will be used as an example of the implementation of the Norm ISO 9001:2008 in a large installations of excellence
in the field of research support. Since March 2005 the CCiTUB have well-established a system of management of the quality based on the ISO norm 9001, which also satisfies the Good Manufacturing Practice requirements (GMP). The CCiTUB also are recognized by the FDA as a contract laboratory to perform medication trials.
The event will take place in the "Sala de Graus" of the Faculty of Physics, and it count on the presence of the Dr. Gaspar Rosselló, Vice-Rector for Academic Policy and Quality of the UB, the Dr. Enric I. Canela, Vice-Rector for Science Policy of the UB and the Dra. Ana Pérez Neira, Vice-Rector for Research of the UPC.
