"The handbook of instrumental techniques of the CCiTUB is now available at the digital deposit of the UB"

The handbook of instrumental techniques of the CCiTUB entitled 'Handbook of instrumental techniques for materials, chemical and biosciences research' is now available at the digital deposit of the University of Barcelona.

This handbook provides to the reader updated information about some of the available technologies in the Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona. Every contribution summarizes the basic principles of a particular technology and gives examples of applications that illustrate the capacities of the technology. In addition, a wide selection of references gives to the reader an easy access to a more detailed information. The content and the style of every contribution are destined to be appropiate for readers who are not familiar with the different technologies.

The handbook is divided in 3 parts. The first part is about the technologies that are in use for the characterization of materials, the second one is about the relevant technologies of characterization for the chemical investigation and the third one is about the technologies used in investigation in biosciences.

It is important to emphasize that the CCiTUB have an own section in the "Research” category, where the CCiTUB will make available to the public contents related to this area. The Handbook will also be available at the divulgation section of the CCiTUB web.
