The CCiTUB will host the First Congress of the Spanish Network of Advanced Optical Microscopy, REMOA.
The Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona, will host the First Congress of the Spanish Network of Advanced Optical Microscopy, (REMOA, Red Española de Microscopía Óptica Avanzada). The conference will be held at the Faculty of Medicine during the 20th to 22th November 2012.

The main objective of the conference is to present the progress and new technologies in Advanced Optical Microscopy, image analysis and microscopy applications in biological and biomedical research.

Both, the program and the format of the conference, will promote the exchange of knowledge and experience, and the use of all advantages and potential offered by optical microscopy in the biomedical and biological research.

The Congress will be organized in plenary sessions, seminars, technological workshops with experts, poster sessions and demonstrations of equipment from different companies.

The website of the congress will be available soon. Deadline for registration and submission of papers (oral and posters) will be September 30, 2012.
