The agreement with WiTEC for the use of the "Alpha 300RA+ WiTEC" equipment has been extended for the entire 2012
Due to the good response received by the users of Centres Científics i Tecnològics UB towards the WiTEC 300RA+ Alpha equipment, the CCiTUB have reached an agreement with the WiTEC focus innovations GmbH company to extend the duration of the collaboration to the entire 2012. The "Alpha 300RA+" equipment is located in the CCiTUB building at Lluís Solé i Sabarís street.

Such a system combines a Confocal Raman microscope and an AFM and allows:
- Ultrafast 3D Confocal Raman imaging
- Confocal fluorescence imaging
- Raman imaging in NIR and Visible
- AFMmodes: contactmode, lateralforcemodes(LFM),ACModes, resonant intermittent contact mode with
amplitude and phase imaging.
