EMAS-2025 international conference

The European Microbeam Analysis Society (EMAS) and the Universitat de Barcelona organize the EMAS-2025 international conference on Modern Developments and Aplications in Microbeam Analysis, which will be held on May 11-15 at the Tecnocampus in Mataró.

The conference will include tutorial keynote lectures by renewed experts on the different microbeam analysis techniques and metodologies such as SEM-EDS, EPMA, SXES, EBSD, FIB-ToF-SIMS, FIB-SEM, nanoCT, m-XRF, TEM-EDS, among others, poster sessions, round-table discussions, an early career scientist session, and a commercial exhibition where the main manufacturers of scientific instrumentation will present their latest developments in both instrumentation and software.

PhD. Xavier Llovet, technical manager of the electron microprobe at CCiTUB, will serve as chairman of the organizing and scientific committees for this congress, which is now in its eighteenth edition.
