New CCiTUB social networks dedicated to dissemination

This April, we are launching two new CCiTUB communication channels: a new Twitter account, @CCiTUBDivulga , focused on disseminating the activities offered by our centre to primary and secondary school students, and a new Instagram account, @csl_ods dedicated to the "Core Sustainability Lab: Operation Delta S 2150 (SDG 2150)" project.

The Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona are firmly committed to bringing science closer to students, from primary to secondary school, with the aim of instilling a passion for science in future scientists, as well as bringing new technologies closer to the teaching staff of institutes and schools.

With the hope of spreading scientific knowledge, we are opening this new channel on Twitter. The main objective of @CCiTUBDivulga will be to inform schools and institutes about the different dissemination projects in which CCiTUB participate, as well as to create a channel of communication with teachers and students who are interested in knowing the analytical techniques that CCiTUB offer and their application in scientific research.

On the other hand, the new Instagram account is a necessary tool for the CSL_ODS project, a didactic resource created in collaboration with the "Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología" (FECYT) that will help understand how science and technology can help solve the challenges of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, through various activities and virtual visits to the CCiTUB laboratories. The project, which is currently in the development phase, will use this Instagram account to explain its progress and, once operational, it will be the tool through which the project itself will work, establishing contact between the students of the institutes and the technicians of the CCiTUB.

The new social networks come to complement the existing ones, which we invite you to follow to keep you informed of everything that happens in the core facilities of the University of Barcelona:Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube .
