On September 30th, Dra. Núria Ferrer Felis, Responsible of the Molecular Spectroscopy Unit retired. PhD in Chemistry, she was a PDI at the UPC from 1983 to 1988, when she joined the University of Barcelona.
As responsible of the molecular spectroscopy unit, during all the years of dedication to CCiTUB she has proven to be an excellent professional for both knowledge and human quality, and has opened the way for the new generations of scientists in her field. It’s important to highlight its divulgation and training facet, which has developed over the years preparing new technicians of different institutions in spectroscopy, and also highlight its social role within the CCiTUB, where he was part of the first Equality and Social Action Commission.
From the CCiTUB we want to thank Núria for her dedication and professionalism, values that have led the Molecular Spectroscopy Unit to be one of the national references in techniques applied to the world of art and the detection of plastics, as well as its commitment to the institution and its users.
