25.11.202025N: International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
On the occasion of the 25N, the Equality and Social Action Commission of the Scientific and Technological Centers proposes, to staff and users of the CCiTUB, to think about the role that each of us has in the permissiveness of sexist behaviors.
In a brief document, the Commission make proposals for a change of attitude in our day-to-day lives to guarantee that micro-chauvinisms are not tolerated in the university community.
There is still a long way to go to achieve an egalitarian society, but small actions can correct major defects and make us participate in the change towards a university and a society that defends the dignity of women.
The message of the Equality Commission is clear: The eradication of sexist violence is the responsibility of all people. To ignore our responsibility is to be participants in that violence.
The Equality Commission invites us all to share its document as well as to make visible the poster made to commemorate the day against sexist violence.
