Ms. Eva Jané, Operational Coordinator of the CCiTUB, has been nominated by Management of the University of Barcelona as a COVID reference person of the staff and users that work in the technical units of the CCiTUB located in different Campus of the University of Barcelona.
Reference persons are responsible for coordinating the management of suspected or diagnosed COVID-19 cases with academic, managerial and medical leaders of the University of Barcelona. They are also the persons who must receive the information of what has happened, communicate it to the medical services and take appropriate measures in accordance with the provisions of the Contingency Plan.
In order to facilitate the reading of the Contingency Plan, the Operational Coordination has prepared a document condensing the essential information that refers to the actions and procedures to be followed if COVID cases are detected inside and outside the workplace.
In addition, following the requirements of the UB Contingency Plan, there has been enabled a COVID free space in the main building of the CCiTUB - Lluís Solé i Sabarís. This space will be used if it is necessary to isolate someone following health recommendations.
