The Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona have renewed the ISO 9001 certification. This certification guarantees the utilization of a Quality Management System, which also meets the requirements of the Standards of Good Manufacturing (GM) to support the activities of public and private research and provide scientific, technological, and analytical services. The CCiTUB were certified for the first time in 2005, thus guaranteeing the quality of the service given to users and having a direct impact on the excellence of their research. This certification has also been renewed for the provision of services performed by the Radiological Protection Unit of the CCiTUB. Both certificates are valid until 2020.
