Dra. Teresa Rodrigo, Head of Animal Welfare of Animal Facilities of the Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona, was elected President of the "Sociedad Española para las Ciencias del Animal de Laboratorio" at the "XIV Congreso Nacional" (until then, Dra. Teresa Rodrigo was the Vice-President). Dra. Teresa Rodrigo was also part of the scientific committee of the congress, and participated with the conference "Procesos cognitivos básicos en animales (percepción, atención, memoria y aprendizaje)" corresponding to the section which she also co-coordinated: "TEMA III, Investigación en aprendizaje, memoria y enfermedades neurodegenerativas".
